Shaft: Vintage straight shaft, firmly fitted to hosel (re-glued and pinned). No splits or cracks visible. Vintage 12.5" leather grip.
Length: 37.5"

Condition: Good overall condition for age.
Other details: Retailed by the Army & Navy Co-operative Stores Ltd., a leading London sports equipment supplier of the day, with their oval stamp on the reverse of the head (worn but visible). Attractive dash-punched face boardered either side with parallel vertical lines and dashes. The deep face measures 2 5/8" at the widest part, and is very slightly concave or 'dished'. A Star Maxwell model Niblick with drilled hosel and a wide 7/8" flanged sole stamped 'Niblick' along the bottom.
