Other details: The two legs open out to form a tripod when used to prop the carry bag off the ground. A piece of strong leather strap prevents the legs from opening too far. Like the shafts in the old clubs, the hardwood used in this bagstand is strong and sturdy, allowing the thickness of the wood to be kept to a minimum, and so reduce the weight and dimensions, making it easy to fit in your carry bag when not in use.  The hardwood has been given coats of lacquer and bees wax to help protect it in wet conditions.
