This site is owned and operated by Golf Classics. Your privacy on the Internet is of the utmost importance to us. At Golf Classics we want to make your experience online satisfying and safe.

How we use your information

We collect your information only for the purposes of delivering your order and we share your details with various companies to both process and deliver your goods. We only collect basic personal information about you which does not include any sensitive types of information or location based information. This does, however, include your name, address, telephone number and email address.

Why we need your information

We need to know your basic personal information in order to process your order. We will not collect any data that we do not need to provide and oversee this service.

We use tracking information to determine which areas of our site users like and don’t like based on traffic to those areas. We do not track what individual users read, but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us continue to build a better service for you.

We will not disclose any information about individual users except to comply with applicable law or valid legal process or to protect the personal safety of our users or the public.

What we do with your personal information

We use third party services for payment processing when you place an order on-line. We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information.

We will not share information about individual users with any third party, except to comply with applicable law or valid legal process, and for payment processors as described above.

How long do we keep your personal information

We are required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years after which time it will be destroyed. We do not keep any information for marketing purposes.

Security of Data

The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

All card details are processed using a SSL secure server.

Cookies

We may place a text file called a “cookie” in the browser files of your computer. The cookie itself does not contain Personal Information although it will enable us to relate your use of this site to information that you have specifically and knowingly provided. But the only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. A cookie can’t read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites. Golf Classics uses cookies to track user traffic patterns (as described above).

You can refuse cookies by turning them off in your browser. If you’ve set your browser to warn you before accepting cookies, you will receive the warning message with each cookie. You do not need to have cookies turned on to use this site.

Terms and Conditions

Returns or damages

Should your goods arrive damaged then please let us know within 3 calendar days of receipt (preferably sooner) by telephoning 01769 581161 or 07815 062775 (preferred method). Alternatively you can email us at sales@golfclassics.co.uk. We will then arrange for a replacement. Please keep all the original packaging materials where possible as these will be needed for inspection should we make an insurance claim from our carriers.
Should your order be short or items are missing, please let us know within 3 calendar days of receipt as we will not be held responsible for any missing goods should we be contacted beyond this time.

Cancellations and Returns

The following returns policy does not apply to products which are personalised, or bespoke items made to your specification.

If for any reason you are not happy with the goods you receive and you wish to return them then please let us know within 7 working days of receipt by either telephoning us on 01769 581161 or on 07815 062775. Alternatively you can email us at sales@golfclassics.co.uk. We will then ask you to return the item at your own expense. Please make sure you take reasonable care when packing the goods for return so they don’t get damaged in transit, and where possible use the original packaging.

On cancellation of an order we will issue you with a full refund, within 30 days. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration we will charge you for the reduction in value. This cancellation does not affect your legal rights, for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.
