Club: Playable pair of socket-head woods with ivorine face inserts - "The Victory" model Brassie and Spoon

Maker: James Crowley, Whitecraigs (1909-1911) and Cowglen (1911-1912), Scotland

Year: c.1910-1912

Shafts: Both hickory shafts are straight, with no visible signs of splits or cracks. The Spoon has four bands of whipping equidistant along its length which is purely decorative. Both clubs have new suede grips and whipping.

Length: Brassie 42.25"  Spoon 41"

Loft: Brassie 10.5 degrees,  Spoon 18 degrees

Swing Weight: Brassie ,  Spoon 

Condition: Good overall, with some knocks and dents commensurate with age and use. Lightly restored.  Makers name stamp on the Spoon and Brassie are clear, with the model name "The Victory" stamped on both the crowns, the Spoon also having a registration no. "26072". 

Other details: Both woods have wood-pinned ivorine face inserts. James Crowley was a professional at the following Scottish clubs;

Elie (1893-1905),  Ferenze (1905-1909), Whitecraigs (1909-1911),  Cowglen (1911-1912)
