Club: David Grinley Robertson smooth-face Cleek

Maker: Robert Condie, St. Andrews, Scotland

Year: c.1895

Shaft: Original hickory shaft with owners 'W' initial carved below grip. Original thick calf skin leather grip with underlisting.

Length: 40.5"

Condition: Good condition for age. Robertson makers' stamp and Robert Condie 'Rose' worn but visible on back of head.

Other details: Swing weight E3. Loft 22 degrees.

David Grinley Robertson was a little known club and ball maker, based at 11 Tarvit Street, Edinburgh in the 1890s. Robertson patented a hickory driver with a laminated leather head.
