Description

Club: Driving Mashie with lined face.

Maker: Unknown. Retailed by James B. Hutchison, Royal Cullagh G.C., Ireland

Year: c.1911

Shaft: Most probably the original hickory shaft, stamped 'Selected' beneath the old calf skin grip. Shaft straight and firmly fitted to head with no visible signs of splits or cracks.

Swing weight: D2-D3.

Length: 40.25" Heel to butt of shaft

Loft: 17 degrees.

Condition: Good for age.

Other details: Clear professional's stamp for James B. Hutchison, Royal Cullagh Golf Club, Ireland (1909-12). Very little wear to sole and face, with well defined line markings.
