Condition: Good for age, with clear makers oval mark on reverse of head.
Other details: A hand punched face approaching iron/Jigger, with wide sole. Hosel 4". 'John Morris, Hoylake' oval stamp and 'Warranted Hand Forged' mark on reverse of blade.
Born in St. Andrews in 1847, 'Jack' was the nephew of Old Tom Morris. He was the first professional at Royal Liverpool Golf Club, and remained there for sixty years.
