Condition: Lightly restored, and very good condition for its age. No visible splits or cracks. Some wear commensurate with use. New neck and grip whipping. Aluminium band soleplate. 

Other details: A nice clear three line name stamp in script font across the wide 3" crown. Born in 1881, Joshua Taylor was the younger brother of the five times Open Champion John Henry "J.H." Taylor, and served as his apprentice in Winchester before setting up in business on his own. Joshua went on to work for a number of golf clubs, including Aldburgh, Rotherham & District, Acton, Sudbury and Richmond Municipal.
