Maker: Andrew Herd Scott, Earlsferry, Elie, Scotland

Year: c.1905

Shaft: Straight hickory shaft with 2" section of whipping above hosel to strengthen flex. Original calf skin grip.

Length: 35.75"

Condition: Reasonably good for age, with knocks and dents commensurate with use. Makers' stamp and Prince of Wales plumes stamp clearly visible.

Other details: The Prince of Wales Plumes stamped on the reverse dates this club between 1902 and 1909 when Andrew Herd Scott held the Royal warrant as maker to Prince George. Scott later changed his stamp and used the 'Crown and Lion' mark when the Prince was crowned King George V in 1910.
