The container is lined in a red baize type material, and the container stands on three brass ball feet.

Unknown maker and date but this is a modern 20th century item (not antique).

The image of the golfer shows him swinging a scarehead driver of the pre-1900 gutty ball era. A closer look at his jacket pocket shows it bulging with spare balls.

Very good overall condition, with no dents or visible damage.
