Description: A playable set of George Nicoll Zenith model Rustless irons
Maker: George Nicoll, St. Andrews, Scotland.
Year: c.1925-30
Shafts: Straight hickory shafts, firmly fitted to hosels. No visible signs of splits or cracks. New whipping fitted to base of shafts.
Lengths: Standard length shafts, graduated Driving Iron to Putter
Condition: Heads very good, shafts very good with four having original 'George Nicoll' stamp below the grip. Clear makers' stamp on reverse of heads, and 'punched' face markings.
Other Details:
The heads all bear the famous Nicoll 'Hand' cleek mark, with the 1, 2, 3 & 4 numbered using the early numbering system.
All the irons are fitted with new matching brown suede grips.
