Description

Club: W. Park Jr. Patent 'Pik Up' Spoon

Maker: W. Park Jr., Musselburgh, Scotland.

Year: c.1909

Shaft: Original, fairly straight, stamped 'W.PARK', with later replaced vintage grip (13").

Length: 39.75"

Loft:

Condition: Good. No visible signs of cracks or splits. Name stamp on head obscured by old varnish.

Other details: Brass convex, grooved sole plate clearly stamped 'W.Park's Patent 22113-09'.

This club formed part of the collection (club tag no. 14) of golf historian David Stirk, author of 'Golf in the Making'. The signed tag, with details of the club, is included with the sale.
